Amazônia: A Captivating Photo Exhibition by Liam Fabre
The photo exhibition “Amazônia: Stand with the Guardians of the Forest” by Liam Fabre, organised by Giu Monte-Carlo, is scheduled to take place on December 7th and 8th at the Hotel Meridien Beach Plaza, Monaco. Liam Fabre, aged 23, made history as the first Monegasque to photograph the indigenous tribe, Kokama Yakami, during his expedition to the Amazon in October 2023.
Liam, a 23-year-old Monegasque, commenced his photography and videography journey in January 2022.

Driven by a passion for travel, exploration, and the capture of indelible moments, Liam found the Amazon to be the perfect canvas for his artistic expression. Joining a group of photographers, he delved into the heart of the Amazon rainforest, ultimately reaching the Kokama Yakami indigenous tribe. As the first Monegasque to document this tribe, Liam had the honor of immortalizing unique and emotionally resonant moments forever etched in his memory.
Liam’s upcoming exhibition is centered on the Amazon, featuring distinctive photographs of the indigenous people and the Amazon rainforest. The primary objective of this exhibition is to share the lived experiences from this extraordinary journey. The organiser of Liam’s exhibition, Isabella Vieira, founder of Giu Monte-Carlo, is originally from the Amazon and deeply committed to the protection of her tribe. Isabella has invited her chief Isaka Huni Kuin, leader of the 12 Huni Kuin tribes in Acre, Brazil, to visit Monaco on the occasion of the first Forest & Communities Initiative organized by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. Liam had a great opportunity to photograph Isaka in Monaco in traditional attire, adding an additional captivating dimension to the exhibition.

The Monaco exhibition holds special significance for Liam, as it is his homeland. His intent is to share with the local community the unique encounters he had while exploring the Amazon. Through this local presentation, Liam aspires to raise awareness among the Monegasque people about the cultural richness of indigenous tribes and the breathtaking beauty of the Amazon rainforest. Moreover, by hosting Cacique Isaka in Monaco, Liam aims to foster a cultural exchange that strengthens the connections between two distinct worlds.
The vernissage for the exhibition is scheduled for December 7th at 7 pm. For invitations to the vernissage, please contact by email info@isabellawellnessmonaco.com. The exhibition will be open to the public on December 7th and 8th from 10 am to 8 pm.
