Over 700 guests will gather in Grimaldi Forum Monaco for the annual UEFA European Club Football Season Kick-Off. European clubs’ representatives, football players and legends, members of the European football family, and media will attend the two-day event, which symbolically kicks off the new club competition season.

On August 31, the Grimaldi Forum will host the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League group stage draw and the UEFA Awards ceremony to recognize the best player and coach performances from the previous editions of its men’s and women’s club competitions, as well as the UEFA men’s and women’s Coaches of the Year. Since 1998, the UEFA President’s Award has also acknowledged an outstanding individual or group achievement whose impact transcends the game. During the ceremony, the 2023 UEFA President’s Award will also be drawn by UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin. The 2022/23 UEFA nominees Player of the Year award are Kevin De Bruyne (Belgium & Manchester City), Erling Haaland (Norway & Manchester City), Lionel Messi (Argentina & Paris, now at Inter Miami), Aitana Bonmatí (Spain & Barcelona), Olga Carmona (Spain & Real Madrid), and Sam Kerr (Australia & Chelsea)

On September 1, 2023/24, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League group stage draws will take place.
