Monaco has welcomed a new destination dedicated entirely to families with the inauguration of Little Wonders on Wednesday, January 21, in the presence of the Princely Family. Initiated by Marie Ducruet and Élise Rouillard, this innovative indoor play concept has been thoughtfully designed for young children and their parents, combining early learning, imagination, and shared moments within a warm, secure, and carefully curated environment.
Conceived as a true family cocoon, Little Wonders offers a space that stimulates children’s curiosity, creativity, and development, while providing parents with a welcoming place to meet, connect, and accompany their children through their first discoveries.

“Élise and I are friends, and we experienced our pregnancies together. Our children grew up almost at the same pace, and we discovered motherhood hand in hand. In Monaco, we dreamed of a warm, stroller-friendly café where parents could gather indoors while their children played in a space designed especially for them. This shared dream is what we decided to bring to life.” — Marie Ducruet, Co-founder of Little Wonders
Spaces Designed for Every Age and Every Moment
Every area of Little Wonders has been designed with particular attention to safety, material quality, and the overall family experience, offering a space that is both playful and aesthetically refined.
“The space was designed exactly as we envisioned it: a complete venue that meets the needs of children of different ages and their parents. From dedicated baby areas to role-play zones and quiet corners, everything was imagined to create a playful, warm, and truly comprehensive place.” — Marie Ducruet & Élise Rouillard, Co-founders of Little Wonders
The venue features a two-story play structure, which forms the heart of the space and encourages climbing, exploration, and physical activity in complete safety. An imitation space and mini city invites children to engage in role-playing and symbolic play, fostering imagination and social interaction.

A dedicated baby area (0–18 months) provides a calm and secure environment with age-appropriate modules that promote sensory development and free movement. For quieter moments, a reading and construction games area allows children to slow down and focus, while nurturing creativity.
Parents are welcomed into a convivial café area, designed as a true living space where they can relax, enjoy a coffee or snack, and maintain clear visibility of the play areas. Child-friendly restrooms, adapted specifically for young children, further enhance comfort and encourage independence.
A Meaningful Inauguration
The official inauguration brought together the Princely Family, partners, local stakeholders, and guests for an exclusive first look at this new family-focused venue.
“It was an especially emotional moment for us — the realization of a project imagined above all for our children, who are the true driving force behind Little Wonders. The support and presence of the Princely Family reflect the Principality’s interest in this opening and reinforce our pride in seeing this project come to life.” — Marie Ducruet & Élise Rouillard
With its thoughtful concept and welcoming atmosphere, Little Wonders aims to become a reference destination for families in Monaco — offering far more than a play area, but a space for connection, encounters, and shared memories.
