Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer and Be Safe Monaco Renew Partnership to Promote Safer Summer Nights

For the third consecutive year, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer has renewed its partnership with Be Safe Monaco, reaffirming a shared commitment to responsible nightlife and road safety across the Principality.

The renewed agreement was officially signed by Stéphane Valeri, Deputy Chairman of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, and Camille Gottlieb, whose association has been working since 2017 to reduce the risks associated with drink-driving and encourage safer travel after evenings out.

Running throughout the peak summer season, from 1 July to 31 August 2026, the initiative sees Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer once again providing professional drivers to operate the Be Safe Monaco night-time shuttle service. Available free of charge, the electric shuttle transports guests safely from Monaco’s restaurants, bars and nightlife venues to destinations across the Principality.

Operating Wednesday through Sunday, between midnight and 5:30 a.m., the service offers both residents and visitors a convenient and responsible alternative to driving after an evening out, helping reinforce Monaco’s reputation as a destination where luxury hospitality goes hand in hand with public safety.

The partnership has continued to grow since it was first introduced in 2024. Over the past two summer seasons, 741 people have safely returned home using the service, including 355 passengers in 2024 and 386 in 2025. These figures highlight the increasing popularity of the initiative and the positive impact of the collaboration between the hospitality group and the charitable organisation.

As Monaco welcomes thousands of visitors throughout the summer, the continued collaboration between Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer and Be Safe Monaco serves as a meaningful reminder that responsible hospitality remains an essential part of the Principality’s lifestyle.
