Miss Universe Ukraine Angelina Usanova Hosts Charity Gala For Ukrainian Children

In December, the picturesque Château de Crémat in Nice, Côte d’Azur, set the stage for a remarkable charity event initiated by Miss Universe Ukraine, Angelina Usanova. The dazzling Ukrainian beauty queen, known not just for her striking appearance but also for her philanthropic efforts, organized the evening to support Ukrainian children. The star-studded Charity Gala, attended by six Miss Universe contestants from Denmark, Latvia, Germany, Great Britain, Iceland, and Switzerland, drew global attention. Angelina Usanova, leveraging her platform as Miss Universe Ukraine, aimed to shed light on the ongoing struggles in Ukraine and raise funds for the Club Dobrodiiv initiative – providing individual backpacks to children affected by war.
Angelina explained, «These backpacks serve as emotional support, filled with essentials to help children feel comforted, cared for, and loved during difficult times.» The event, supported by humanitarian organization Kotramarka Help and spiritual mentor Juliya Obukhova, aimed to refocus the world’s attention on Ukraine’s plight.

During the event, Angelina represented a book “Miy Dim” (“My Home”) she created for children to share invaluable knowledge about our planet Earth, self-care, and environmental responsibility.
At the Miss Universe 2023 competition, Angelina Usanova entered the Top Ten with an image representing Bereginya, the Mother with a child, dedicated to mothers waiting for their children to return from war.
The event also showcased Angelina’s dresses from the Miss Universe competition, including designs by Schiaparelli and FROLOV, a renowned Ukrainian brand with clients such as Beyoncé, Sam Smith, Kylie Minogue, Rita Ora, Måneskin, Jamala, and others.

Juliya Obukhova added, “Our goal was to use beauty to inspire people to help Ukraine. I also contribute financially and teach charity yoga and meditation for Ukrainians to improve their mental well-being.”
The 26-year-old Ukrainian Angelina, besides being a passionate philanthropist, a beauty queen, and an advocate for her country, is also a singer with plans to develop her singing career.
Angelina’s commitment to supporting Ukraine remains steadfast, with plans for more charity events and activities in 2024. An upcoming Charity Gala by Angelina Usanova will be held in February in Paris promising to be a splendid convergence of beauty and philanthropy in an atmosphere of exquisite style.
