PADEL BEST EXPO 2024: Monaco’s Padel Event at Grimaldi Forum
Monaco is gearing up for a sporting event as the Grimaldi Forum hosts the inaugural edition of PADEL BEST EXPO from April 7 to 9, 2024. This exhibition, dedicated to the world of padel, is presented by the Italian company BSG, the visionary minds behind the FIVE PADEL CUP held in April 2023 (between Eze and Monte-Carlo).
The event promises the presence of iconic figures and legends from the realm of international sports, with a notable representation from football personalities among others.
CUPRA FIP TOUR 2024 Takes Center Stage
PADEL BEST EXPO will also be the stage for the CUPRA FIP TOUR 2024, a global professional circuit organized by the International Padel Federation. Among the 120 tournaments scheduled worldwide, a special stage is earmarked within the Grimaldi Forum during PADEL BEST EXPO. This unique competition, separate from the FIVE PADEL CUP, will see players vying for points that contribute to the world ranking of the CUPRA FIP TOUR 2024.
The Exposition: A Padel Enthusiast’s Haven
Over three days, leading global brands, companies, and suppliers will converge in Monaco, showcasing their top products related to the dynamic and rapidly growing sport of padel. Roberta Ceccarelli, CEO of BSG, emphasizes the event’s focus on entertainment, presenting the world of padel, and introducing innovations in products and hardware.
The Grimaldi Forum will be transformed to exhibit the latest equipment, materials, and courts, providing a visual treat for the anticipated audience.
Regular players will have the chance to come together, sharing their passion for padel, while newcomers can discover the intricacies of the sport through interactions with industry professionals present at PADEL BEST EXPO.
FIVE PADEL CUP Returns to Monaco
Within the Grimaldi Forum, several ephemeral padel courts will be set up for the second edition of the FIVE PADEL CUP. Five simultaneous tournaments over three days will highlight the diversity of participants, bringing together personalities from various backgrounds.
The coming weeks will reveal details about the five competitions, with the confirmed presence of Ukrainian legend Andriy Shevchenko. As an ambassador for “Football for Ukraine,” the PADEL BEST EXPO will also raise funds for this noble cause.
Partnership with the Monegasque Padel Federation
The Monegasque Padel Federation proudly supports PADEL BEST EXPO as an official partner. This collaboration aims to promote Monegasque padel on the international stage, recognizing the efforts of those involved in competitions such as European championships and world championship qualifications.
Cécilia D’Ambrosio, President of the Monegasque Padel Federation, echoes the sentiment, emphasizing the positive impact of this collaboration on local padel development.
Supporting Local Causes and Initiatives
In addition to the sporting excitement, the Barbagiuans of Monaco, the organization founded by Prince Albert II and currently led by Louis Ducruet, will field multiple teams, primarily consisting of iconic figures from both local and international football. Through the FIVE PADEL CUP tournament, the Barbagiuans will contribute to local charities. Funds raised during the event will be directed towards ‘Football For Ukraine’ and FIGHT AIDS MONACO, the HIV charity founded and chaired by H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie.
