UTER by Philippe Uter – a Fusion of American Modernism and European Chic
UTER is a new gender-fluid fashion brand, carefully developed during the pandemic by Los Angeles-based French Stylist and Artist Philippe Uter. Sold exclusively at The Webster and on the brand’s website, this initial three-piece capsule collection fuses American modernism with European chic.

The button-front short-sleeve shirt can be completed by either flowy trousers or shorts, and each piece is adorned with a unique print inspired by one of Philippe’s own paintings.
The clothes are composed of 100 percent twill silk and are offered in four colors: black and white with red accents, indigo blue with scarlet, sage green with vermilion, and coral pink with mint green. Bottoms are fully lined (moving seamlessly from lounge to street) and finished with buttons and an elastic waistband for added comfort.

“Each piece is a wearable work of art, perfect for those who appreciate the intersection of fashion and art,” says Uter. “The silk fabric drapes beautifully on the body, offering a luxurious and elegant feel. And the matching sets look instantly polished and pulled together to help simplify the process of getting dressed. ”

Over his career between Paris and LA, Philippe Uter has collaborated with many publications such as Vogue, V magazine, Vanity Fair, L’Officiel, Harper’s Bazaar and has built a loyal celebrity clientele in Hollywood, including Milla Jovovich, Adriana Lima, Meagan Good, Coco Rocha, Roselyn Sanchez, Noah Schnapp, Ian Bohen, Karolina Kurkova, Jourdan Dunn to name a few.
