La Promenade d’Orlinski: Exhibition of 10 Richard Orlinski’s Monumental Sculptures in Nice
The exclusive open-air exhibition by the world’s most prominent and best-selling contemporary French artist since 2015 – Richard Orlinski, is presented in Nice from June 10 to September 30.
Richard Orlinski is represented by more than 200 galleries worldwide; however, exhibiting his works of spectacular dimensions in unusual places and the great outdoors is the artist’s signature.
The artist began his career in 2004 by creating his first work, a bright red resin crocodile, which soon became iconic. Inspired by pop culture, everyday objects, and popular things, Richard Orlinski developed new sculptures, mostly of animals, symbolizing freedom, power, and passion – electrifying masterpieces in pop colors and a faceted style that impressed the world.

Richard Orlinski loves art in all forms, places no limits on himself, and is therefore innovating constantly. Driven by the desire to democratize art by making it accessible to the masses, Richard Orlinski takes an interest in all means of expression, and his art knows no boundaries. He was made an Officer for the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Minister of Culture, Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin, in 2021.
Richard Orlinski enjoys exploring different production techniques to bring life to his works. The artist has fun with colors, materials, transparency, and light and constantly pushes back the limits of creativity and technique.
The artist defines art not as a luxury but a necessity, with its imperatives, a necessary process of reflection. Hungry for novelty, curious, and constantly seeking to go further, Richard is always willing to associate his image with that of prestigious partners such as Hublot (LVMH Group), BIC, and The Kooples.
The artist has developed new artistic universes, ranging from cartoons to digital artworks with NFTs. Giving art a central place in our daily lives is a recurring theme.
In 2017, he decided to develop an innovative concept. He created the first Galerie Orlinski, exclusively dedicated to his art. He chose the most perfect and prestigious location – Paris – to open his first gallery at 68 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. This opening marked the beginning of his international expansion.
Orlinski’s dedicated galleries make it possible to centralize most of his work in one place, making it more accessible. This concept is intended to be deployed in all the great art capitals. Imbued with his art, these galleries reflect the artist and offer an immersion in his universe.
Richard has always been committed to supporting good causes and has worked with UNICEF for years at Unicef Village, Square de la Tour Saint-Jacques in Paris 2019.
Richard Orlinski developed many projects: some put him on the big screen, behind the decks. His artistic sensibility is expressed in many areas: sculpture, design, music, publishing, fashion, and live performance.
The artist loves to build bridges between worlds beyond boundaries. A success story marked by an ability to reinvent himself endlessly, propelling him onto the international scene.

Recently Richard Orlinski was recognized by WIBA Awards 2023 as the Most Influential Artist of the Decade. The fifth gala ceremony of the global prestigious award for the most influential personalities in the social media world was held in Hotel Martinez in Cannes during Cannes Film Festival. Richard Orlinski exclusively designed the special trophy for the anniversary edition, and Maye Musk was honored with it as the Most Influential Woman in the World.
