Monaco Celebrates Triple Victory at the M&IT Awards 2025
Monaco has once again asserted its place on the international stage, taking home three prestigious honors at the M&IT Awards 2025, the leading annual gathering of the global meetings and events industry. Held in London this September, the ceremony welcomed more than 700 professionals who came together to celebrate excellence in business tourism.
For the third year running, the Convention Bureau of Monaco’s Directorate of Tourism and Conventions in London was awarded Gold for Best Overseas Convention Bureau, cementing its reputation as a world-class reference in event services and support.
The Principality’s flagship congress and cultural center, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, also secured top recognition, winning Gold for Best Overseas Convention Centre. The award, accepted by Managing Director Sylvie Biancheri, comes at a symbolic moment as the venue celebrates its 25th anniversary and unveils its new extension. The accolade highlights both the quality of its infrastructure and its long-standing commitment to sustainability.
Adding to Monaco’s achievements, the events agency Raising Stones Events earned the Silver Award for Best Destination Management Company, acknowledging the expertise and professionalism of the Principality’s private-sector partners.
“This triple recognition in one of the world’s most important business tourism markets reflects a collective commitment and dedication to excellence that make Monaco a trusted partner for organizers worldwide,” said Guy Antognelli, Director of Tourism and Conventions.
These awards underscore the strength of Monaco’s business tourism sector and the ongoing collaboration between its public and private players, further enhancing the Principality’s attractiveness as a premier international destination for conferences, exhibitions, and major events.
